Innistrad is coming this fall!

I'll have to see how they look in person. I'm a little concerned about handling them, and scuffing their 'back' face on the table top.

I expect I'll have clear sleeves to put them in when they go on the tabletop. Still considering using the checklist card, but we'll see how annoying that is.

Cheers!

I think you *have* to use the checklist card or opaque sleeves. If the double-faced card is in your hand or deck, your opponent should not be able to identify the card. It should appear to be any magic card to her at that point. At least that's my understanding of the rules.

Logically (not physically), I think it's more of a 3-sided card: Side 1, Side 2, and Back. When it is in your deck and hand it's composed of Side 1 + Back. When it goes down on the table, Side 1 can switch to Side 2 and vice versa.

The checklist card seems easier to me than switching sleeve types on the double card as it comes in and out of play.
