The Cinder Clan had resettled on the very edge of a fiery chasm where the red glow of the earth’s blood would sizzle and pop endlessly. While this chasm provided the clan with all the heat it needed to ply its trade in armor and weapon craft, it provided another fascination for the youngest Cinder.
