Intensify-awaken

Awakening gives an animal/plant 3d6 on its mental stats. So an Intensified Awakening gives 36. It's good on paper and all, but... the creature in question still has the stats of an animal/animated object.

Has anyone found a creative way to use this? Surely an awakened creature with 36 int/wis/cha would be good for *something*.

There was a discussion on whether or not you could use empower on awaken. I don't think there was a concensus, not that there ever is in this place. Hmpf, men :).

I don't know what intensify is, so...ehm, that was pretty useless wasn't it?

Intensify is like Maximize, except you double the end result. It's epic metamagic, and Intensified spells are seven levels higher.

Taking class levels and eventually running a forest as the semi-omnipotent guardian/bbeg.

Polymorph it into a human form so it can use it's vast intellect to build stuff like airships, guns or at least really big castles (most animals and plants don't have opposably thumbs).
