The 2006 Interactive Fiction Competition is underway, all entries are submitted and published, and people have six weeks to play the games and vote.
All games have walkthroughs, and the IF website has all the game engines needed to play the games.
For those of you who don't know what Interactive Fiction is, it's basically a text adventure, but with added emphasis on the literary aspect of the game. If you've played Zork or Peasant's Quest, you've played IF.
Also allow me to plug my personal fav in this year's competition, Emily Short's Floatpoint. It's good.
