If you guys want to correct anything, please give me a shout, and I'll re-write it according to your ideas. In this case, I have placed some impressions from Inge about Volund. It does not mean they are true, though. It's just the way some men chose to see him. Also, I made him part of the Muri Wars. Considering his age, the character's ages and the geography, it only made sense. As you can see, I also included some details I thought made sense for Alec's demesne. Since it is a mining area, it would be quite valuable and coveted. Alliances with Alec would be relevant, if not imperative. There are, as far as I imagined, few other options for intensive mining activity (raids might try to compensate it somehow, but with limited success).
