Interesting New Source-Engine Game: The Crossing

Fallen Seraph

First Post
It is a FPS that supposedly melds single-player and multi-player into one whole. There are "storyteller" players who play through the game's campaign world, as well as people who take the place of various npcs and enemies to stop the "storytellers" or possibly side with them to defeat other npcs/players.

The setting is based in two parallel universes, one is our own where much of France has fallen into chaos. The other is also in the modern day but a much different world where the Knight's Templar took over control of France (think crazy Templar-Knights with advance technology and old-style buildings with modern utilities).

This sounds pretty cool. I always figured that a nice twist would be having other online players replacing AI units for campaigns, but I wonder what the incentive would be for them to play in that less glamorous role.
