However, if you define elves through their connection to magic and their rather detached relationship with time, you don't really need to make a different subrace for every type of environment or cultural tidbit. You can create different permutations of that central idea without changing anything. If you're interested, I have something along these lines written for all the core races.</p></blockquote><p></p>
