With all the excitment going on here at ENworld in the past few days, I completely forgot to plug Internet Arcana ... So here's the plug!
What is Internet Arcana ? Well, glad you asked....
Internet Arcana is the first massively hyperlinked (4500 links and anchors) PDF role-playing supplement. Its a compilation of all the spells and items in the SRD + around 30% new OGC stuff from the some of the best e-publishers (around 60 pages of new material).
1. Every class's spell list is hyperlinked. If you click on the 1st level sor/wiz spell magic missile, it takes you to the spell description of magic missile.
2. If the spell makes magic items, click on the magic item made and you're sent to that magic item's description. For magic missile you can choose to go to "spined shield, staff of power, robe of
stars," or "arrow of mulitple strikes."
3. Item lists are hyperlinked as well. If you're looking at the melee weapon special abilities list, you just click on it and your taken to the special ability description.
4. We've a lot of new spells and items from other e-publishers. Each new piece of OGC is treated in the same manner as the SRD spells/items above.
5. All non-SRD material is in a RED color, so you can visually see what's new right off the bat.
6. All the bookmarks (and they're extensive) are also color coded so you can tell just from the bookmark's color what's SRD material and what's new.
7. All non-SRD material has its (a)source and its (b)source company clearly indicated at the new material's description. In fact, the source and source company are hyperlinked as well so the user can click and go either to (a) Rpgnow.com's purchase page for the orginal material or (b) to the source company's web-site.
