They invest a huge amount of ego in their position and become absolutely inflexible with regards to that particular game mechanic. I think it's just a byproduct of the openess of the game system and human nature.To me, it sounds like this person is upset because a fast person can outmaneuver a slow person. I don't see any problem with that. But it is also clear to me that the person isn't about to change his position on the matter because he has made far much of an issue out of it already. It is far easier to hold your ground and argue that the game designers are stupid, than to admit that maybe you misunderstood something and it's not such a big deal after all.</blockquote>
