OOC:

I've not forgotten anyhow, really, but I'm still getting the hang of my new work schedule.

Sorry.

You will see a post by this Friday, ok?

Thanks for the patience.

Robert

Remus Lupin said:
Sam held out his hand. "How ya doin'. My name is Sam. I don't suppose you like playing backgammon, do you?"

"I've never played but if you've got the patience to teach me, I've got nothing but time to learn."

--Several Hours Later--

"How is it possible for you to beat me seven games straight if you've never played this before?" asked Sam skeptically.

[IC]
"Watching my stepfather and his campadres hustle backgammon down at the park every Sunday afternoon for four years taught me a little something about the game. Including, I suppose, how to hustle a game."
[/IC]

OOC:
Remus - While playing, Rollo would be trying to find out things about Sam; not in the sense that would require any kind of skill check, but he'll ask polite questions: Where are you from? What do you do? etc. Can you let me know how much Sam would reveal?

As for Rollo, He'll provide the thumbnail bio:

Born and raised in L.A. One older sister. Parents divorced when he was six. Mom remarried to an autoshop owner, Fernando Campos, who taught Rollo about cars and remained a father-figure even after he and Rollo’s mother split up. Got a GED and a job as a repoman. Teamed up with “Mac” MacAlister for the past 4 years. Mac recently had a stroke and is disabled, leaving Rollo at loose ends. No girlfriend. His mother died two years ago and he seldom has contact with his sister, who married a doctor and moved to Orange County. Talks regularly with Campos.

If Sam would want to know more than that, ask and I'll let you know what Rollo answered.

Friadoc, I think you mentioned we went up a level? Do you want an updated character sheet?

OOC:

Yeah, updated characters sheets are a good thing to e-mail me. :D

Also, the posting fromme will come this weekend, as I had furnace issues thursday night/friday morning and was, thusly, up until four waiting for the repair dude who did not com until 9:30am. Fun, huh?

Anyhow, keep on keepin' on.
