[IC] Again, hard warmth greets Rollo’s ear as he presses it upon his cell door, but also the organic sound of a man beating upon his door, his voice tinged with fear or panic. Seconds stretched into minutes, minutes that have been made to seem like hours, as Sam beats upon his door, calling for assistance, or release. Stoic determination, or sheer stubbornness, is all that Vincent gives to his jailers as he sits within his cell, focusing on the only reality he can be sure off – himself. Meanwhile, within his own cell, Zach clearly faces something unknown, as a tendril of seemingly living metal makes way towards the young man, a tendril that halts it’s movements a mere dozen inches from the man and raises up upon it’s self to a height of two-feet. Abruptly, a light is emitted from the point of the tendril that envelops Zach’s prone form within a triangular spread of greenish light. Slowly the sheet of light passes from the apex of his head down to the ends of his toes and then repeats the processes with increasing alacrity. As the sensing probe’s light switches from green to red, the eerie tranquility of the cells are disrupted by severe upheaval as the rhythmic sound of muffled explosions accompanies the violent quaking of the ground in all the cells. Quickly the tremors grow more violent, their frequency growing closer together, which seems to cause the tendril in Zach’s room to grow ridged as a bolt of azure electricity erupts from it’s point. Within all the other cells similar tendrils erupt from the ceilings and launch their own blasts of azure energy. However, after their initial attempt, all the tendrils drop towards the floor, seemingly dead, as a particular heavy quake shudders throughout the floors and the doors to the cells disappear. Without each cell an unusual sight awaits the onlooker as humanoid shapes of shadow retreat down the hallway, firing blasts of dark energy from inhuman looking weapons towards several groups of large, hairy beings that look like reported sightings of Bigfoot, save for the large tusks that some of them have protruding from their mouths. The Bigfoots are quick to return fire, using movements similar to elite military units, with heavy weaponry of their own, yet more human than those of the shadowy men. [OOC] Tumultuous roll time, people! First: I need three (3) Reflex DCs 10, 12, and 15 checks from everyone, which are for the various tremors throughout the facility. Second: I need one (1) Reflex DC 18 from everyone, which is for the attempted energy blast from the tendril. Third: I need one (1) Will DC 12 from everyone, which is just a ‘WTF’ roll for the events outside and ‘odd’ factor of it all. I mean, it’s like Wookies fighting Shadowmen, dang it! Lastly, most obviously, I need your poses and reactions to the events outside.[/OOC]
