Introducing Magnificent Eegos

Magnificent Eego's is a new d20 publisher started by a couple of old guys who love the game and don't need to make money from it. The mission of ME is to provide an outlet for new writers and artists to showcase their work and to provide d20 game supplements of uncompromising quality to the gaming community.

We are currently seeking unpublished writers and artists as well as a web designer and a cartographer. Additional information about our company and product schedule will be made available to inquiring freelancers.

Our website will be fully active within a few days. In the meantime, please send all inquiries to eego@magnificentegos.com. Please include your name, contact information, a brief summary of your gaming experience, and your favored genre of work along with a sample idea and/or a website link to your work. Writers' samples need only contain basic ideas or partial descriptions. We're interested in helping you get published, not stealing your hard work.

Thanks for your time.

The ME Team.

Waht are you looking for?

I have received this question a few times, so I wanted to go ahead and post some more information here.

For writers, I am looking for people who display an expert knowledge of the d20 rules and know how to use them creatively. Our editor just wants to see that the person can write well enough for the work to be useable.

For an artist, we are looking for extremes. Our first two projects call for both four color and B&W work. However, we don't want to fill a book with the same fare we've been seeing in d20 books for the past two years. We're looking for work that is unique, inspiring and daring.

Our first two projects are fantasy based, but we have plans for d20 modern in the near future. All of our products will primarily be tools for the DM. We are not looking to add new systems or alternate rules. We want to show what d20 can do as is.

We are also interested in someone with web design experience and a cartographer. We have the ability to do our own web work, but we are always interested in finding new talent and seeing what they can do with our stuff. As for a cartographer, we don't have immediate need for one, but may in the near future.

What we are not looking for: new prestige classes; new feats; alternate magic systems; any tweak or improvement on anything previously published.

Also, please note that the extra 'E' in the name is intentional.

I hope this answers some of your questions.

Thanks for the inquiries.

Chris
