I wanted to offer publishers and other members of the industry an opportunity to advertise with the Iridia zine.
Back Cover
The back cover of Iridia would make an excellent place to advertise your product or service. The printable area of the back cover is 5" wide x 8" tall. Your ad should be presented in a 300 dpi, black and white .jpg. Iridia is enjoyed by 100 readers per month. Because .pdf versions and back issues are always available, your ad will continue to be viewed month after month. Back cover ads cost $10.
Interior Half-page Ad
You can purchase a half-page in an issue of Iridia. The printable area is 4.5" wide x 3.5" high. Your ad should be presented in a 300 dpi, black and white .jpg. Iridia is enjoyed by 100 readers per month. Because .pdf versions and back issues are always available, your ad will continue to be viewed month after month. Half-page ads cost $5.
Podcast Promo
Each issue of Iridia is supported with a podcast. The podcast is downloaded 30-40 times/month. Over the course of a year, that's between 400-500 downloads. What a great opportunity to reach the ears of dedicated gamers! You can submit a 60 second (or shorter) .mp3 or I can read your ad at the beginning of the show. This service is $5.
Promotional Material
In the past I have included flyers, stickers, bookmarks and other promotional material with each mailing. One hundred copies of your material can be included with copies of Iridia for $5. You can either mail the material to me, or I can print the material for you when I send Iridia to the printer. There would be an additional fee for copying and paper.
Banner Ad
For 30 days, your banner ad can appear exclusively on each page of the Iridia website. Last month the zine enjoyed 20k hits. The cost for this service is $10. The following rules apply:
1) Your ad must not exceed 728x90
2) Your ad should be submitted in JPG or GIF
3) Banners must advertise a game, website or an entertainment/gaming product.
4) Banners must not contain extreme animation or strong flashing. No vulgarity or graphic violence.
