Message: <blockquote data-quote="CleverNickName" data-source="post: 9758123" data-attributes="member: 50987">Hello there, fellow creatives!  I am resurrecting this thread for a brief moment to let the Iron DMs and judges know about another creative writing contest here at EN World:  the Pumpkin Spice RPG contest!I should explain.You know how this time of the year, everything seems to be "pumpkin spiced"?  It started with coffee drinks at Starbucks, and in the decades since, it has grown to include nearly every product imaginable.  There are Pumpkin Spiced Donuts now.  And Pumpkin Spiced chocolate bonbons.  And Pumpkin Spiced deodorant.  And Pumpkin Spiced...motor oil, probably.  But there has never been a <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-2025-pumpkin-spice-rpg-contest.715217/post-9751534" target="_blank">Pumpkin Spiced RPG</a>.  Until now!The rules are similar to Iron DM: you have a short list of ingredients, and you must use them in some way.  But instead of writing an adventure, you can create literally anything you like: it can be <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-pumpkin-pie-spice-rpg-contest-discussion-thread.699770/post-9127719" target="_blank">a cursed magic item</a>, it can be <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-2024-pumpkin-spice-rpg-contest.706264/post-9461442" target="_blank">a fancy monster</a>, a <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-pumpkin-pie-spice-rpg-contest-discussion-thread.699770/post-9125856" target="_blank">weapon</a>, it can be <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-pumpkin-pie-spice-rpg-contest-discussion-thread.699770/page-9#post-9137743" target="_blank">a set of minis</a>, it can be <a href="https://www.enworld.org/threads/the-2024-pumpkin-spice-rpg-contest.706264/post-9470843" target="_blank">a completely unique game</a>.  You are limited only by your imagination and the three magic words:  Pumpkin, Spice, and (this year) Espresso.And normally we have a few meager prizes to win: there's usually a gift card to Starbucks, a gift certificate to EN Publishing, that sort of thing.  But THIS YEAR, our fellow EN World members (who happen to also be game publishers, heh) have also donated an AMAZING list of prizes, with more being added every few days!
