I am doing the "Iron GM" event this year at Gen Con and was looking from some first-hand accounts of how the event ran. I am especially interested in how the logistics of the tables ran. Were GMs able to set level limits on the PCs during the character generation phase or was it some kind of free for all? Was Iron GM worth the effort to participate or was it over-hyped? How was the swag? I am doing it regardless, but I just want to know what I am getting myself into.
