iron rations review

just got my Iron rations. I found several of the ideas quite interesting such as land and buliding as PC rewards rather then heaps of cash, and the idea of a bookseller/printer combo.

I also liked the idea of seeing a 3.5 character. not all of us out there have purchased the revised books so its nice to see the characters so we can compair them. as always the floorplans give a good general feel for the places. keep up the good work guys!

Christian, any chance we will see the florplans for Cargans multiple buildings?

Wow! The mail was fast.

I'm going to press John to see if he would be interested in fleshing out the NPCs in his article. If not, maybe I'll do it for him. Regarding maps, that might be a very good idea! I love John's work. The man has a unique style.

I'm glad you liked teh real estate angle. It was a lot of fun to use in play. Also, "home improvements" ate up a lot of player character cash.

totally! I had a PC mage invest in a house/lab combo and was able to sell them a roof, plumbing and deal with the rodent/insect "infestation" it prooved to be a good wat to control the party purse strings
