Irregular Magazine » Latest Issue We’ve gone for a swashbuckling spectacular this issue, starting with our fabulous Conquistador cover art from Giovanni Castro (Nigio) – if you haven’t downloaded the desktop wallpaper yet, what are you waiting for? Continuing the theme, Dave brings us ‘Case’s Corsairs’ so Traveller players can play with some space piracy, but swashing your buckle isn’t just for pirates, as Cameron explains in his look at the best swashbuckling movies ever, and Jason proves the point with a look at Viking raiders. We’ve also got some great artwork throughout the issue from some very talented people. We’ve got not one, by two great interviews this issue – with hobby legend, Mike McVey and fantasy/sci-fi author Andy Remic. In the tutorial section we have a fantastic step by step for painting faces by multi-award winning painter, David Heathfield, and for you looking to add some new scenery, Steve shows us how to make photo buildings the easy way. We also have the second instalment of our comic, by artist Will Kirby – Tuk Tuk. The story continues from where it left off in issue 3 / winter ‘09. This issue our competition is for the artist in you, and Kingdom Death have provided a highly desirable prize – find out more on the competition page of this site. Our cover artist from last issue, Ricardo Guimaraes will be judging, and his work is also featured in our regular artist showcase. On top of all that we have 2 short stories, and reviews of Savage Worlds and 6dFireball – and the entries from our Night of the living dead miniature figure painting competition. Time to get reading – go on, download your copy now. Irregular Magazine » Latest Issue Got an idea for a short story? Really enjoyed an article, and want to let us know? Have a product you would like to see reviewed in the future? Entering a competition? There are many reasons to get in touch with us, just send us an email and someone from the team will be in touch with you soon.
