Is it me or the game??????

Two weeks ago we (the board users) had a long talk about doing a Darksun game in the "In Character" section of EN World. Support was high so I went ahead and pieced together an adventure and set up a site there for it. Of the (I guess) 15 people that wanted me to run a game only 4 have any sort of character there.

Is it the game world or me?

May just be the wrong forum. I know very little about IC, venturing in there once a day to check the hivemind game and that's about it.

Maybe you'd get a better response by bumping your old recruiting thread or some such?

I could talk about my opinions of dark sun, but I've had bad experiences with the setting, so it wouldn't be real condusive to the thread...

Don't feel bad mega. I had "supposedly" 6 people for my Psionic only Scarred Lands. So far I only have three characters really, with one still waiting to be converted from online and sent to me.

Then my other Scarred Lands games (I thought I have three but it might just be one...) I asked for people, and so far I've only gotten two...but I'm hopeful for two more.

Aye...bumped several times. Listed this cry of frustration here since it is where the concept originated and figured on the most exposure.
Sorry you had a bad experience with the 2e version. I know the way psionics worked in 2e discouraged many people.

For what's worth, one more person has contacted me there in the past 1/2 hour. Many figured it would have been full due to the amount of interest in it.

I'll give it another few days before I decide what to do.
