Is it possible to buy White-with-Red dice cheaply?

I want white dice with red numbers. I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

The closest contender so far is the Chessex "$1 per side" version, which (at $70) is much too expensive.

Buy white dice from your FLGS, and repaint the numbers yourself. Seriously. A small pot of red acrylic paint and a 5/0 brush will cost you around $7. The work is a bit more time-consuming than the crayon trick, but it looks a lot better, and is far more durable.

When I painted in all the digits on my set of polycarbonate dice, the whole job took maybe a half-hour, and has lasted for over five years without needing any more work.

I've gotten several white d20s with red numbers in the D&D Minis and Star Wars Minis starter sets. Unfortunately, that doesn't help with the other types.

I got them... mwahahahahaha. I bought them in a set.

Just buy some white dice, scrub the numbers out and ink wash them.

Yeah, that's about the response I was expecting, I get it everywhere else too.

(I'm just not artistic enough to pull it off well enough to maintain visual consistency. My hands are way too shaky. >_> )
