I already knew little things about it from being here on ENworld. I wasnt really enthused but I felt that I should give it a fair shot. I didnt hate the game but I had some concerns and was very leery. Still, I thought that I should run it a few times so I bought the gift set from Amazon. I'd already decided at this point that I'd be primarily staying with 3.5, but maybe 4E could be another game that I could run, right? I ran it a few times and while it's a well designed game it didnt feel or play like D&D to me. It played more like a mini's game, which is not a bad thing or an insult. I LIKE MINIS GAMES. But this game was not for me. So I was someone who was part of a playtest, but STILL walked away from the game that I've been playing since I was 12 years old. It wasnt a game for me. Thank Goodness for Pathfinder and Trailblazer.</blockquote>
