Is that HER wight?

I got a question. The DM guide says that if a creature with enery drain slays another creature with said energy drain, that creature becomes a wight unless otherwise specified. A succubus has energy drain so accordingly any creatures she slays with it become wights but are they hers? Does she control them or are they free willed? Are they 1/2 strength until she is dead or do they start out full strength? I realize the slain creatures must be humanoid, I just thought this sounded better the way I chose to say it. Please be kind this is my first post.

We're always nice here ;)

It doesn't mention anything about control in the Special abilities section so I don't think the wight would be under her control.

Now how was that ruling on the flurrying hasted vampire monk? Only one drain per round?

The wights are not controlled. They are free willed.

Ive toyed with the idea of a high level wight fighter with some his old memeories hunting down the powerfull succubus who damned him to undeath, whith the party getting to chose whose side to take.

Yoinked. I often play with NPCs turned into undead, yet the Succubus component so far made his Refl save against me.

This is very cool.

Back to the OP.

There are cases that in the MM's that state that the newly created undead are under the control of the creater. So my vote is that the wight is not controled by Her Succyness.

And Frank, considered this great idea yoinked in this direction as well.
