+98 before spell buffs Thanks for the props shockney, but you're a little off on my archer. 40th ranger, +30 BAB, +17 from DEX, DEX item for +6 more, +2 bracers of archery, +3 luck from skin of hero, +10 dread bow which is actually +14, same bonus for +10 dread arrows, +2 from bane of enemies feat, +5 from epic prowess, +2 epic focus, +2 from way of the lion feat(works if opponent has natural armor), +1 point blank shot...for a total of +98 (unless my math is off) I think we figued damage per arrow averaging somewhere around 60 or so...his DR means nothing to me, haste for 5 attacks a round and you are looking at 300 points of damage without even buffing or getting a critical. You could easily add in some deepwood sniper and wasp bounty hunter levels and jack up the crits to x5 and shoot arrows that do 1d8+1d10 base damage with everything else and you are now at about 80 points per arrow before buffs and crits...im sure I could get to about 100 per shot with buffs and only miss on a 1 with the last shot. With the right levels of the prestige classes, an 80 point arrow with a x5 critical...I could not only hit him, but with a perfect round (5 crits of 400+ each), I could kill him before he even gets an attack off. Bring on the great wyrm, this one is weak.
