Is there a feat to gain a familiar?

I am playing a bard / beguiler and am wondering is there a feat or some other way that I can gain a familiar or an animal companion?

Yes, there is an Obtain Familiar feat in Complete Arcane. You should qualify for it since you have arcane spellcaster levels (as a bard/beguiler).
