9th level huh? I'm going to give these folks similar strength stats to you. 1) Human barbarian2/fighter4/Frenzied Berserker3 Strength: 18 base + 2 levels, +2 item, +4 rage, +6 frenzy = 32 (+11) Lets give our friend a slightly cheaper weapon, like a +1 keen flaming falchion. +21/+21/+16 when frenzying for 2d4+1d6+17+power attack damage. 2) Human paladin 9 Strength 18, Charisma 18 +2 flaming bastard sword, full plate +1, large steel shield (AC 21 or so. Not great, but better( Attack: +15/+10 1d10+6 +4 (divine might) and +4 attack/+9 damage with smite evil. And the winner... 3) Human Druid 9 Wild shape into polar bear, cast Animal Growth, Greater Magic Fang already running Strength: 35 Con: 23 Full Attack: +18/+18/+13(2d6+14 / 2d6+14 / 3d6+8) Huge (10' reach) grapple +26 And he has an animal companion with similar stats. :) Slap on some useful magic items which change form (+1 shaping dragonscale plate and an amulet of natural armor for starters) and your gish quickly gets left behind. Also he's a full caster. :) Other than a few mechanical issues (like the fact that Arcane Strike is a [General] feat) your character is ok, but a lot of the power as you already admitted is in your superior stats and equipment. Gish in general are nice complementary characters, but given a level playing field, you'll never out-perform a dedicated druid, cleric, or barbarian in combat. You'll come close to the paladin, and may even out damage the fighter, but the fighter will be going all spiked chain trippy on you.
