My plan is this get all buffed up. I have a few spells in mind from the CD and other high level buffs. We go in and first round we fight it will go like this. Barb will duke it out with him. The monk goes into flanking so the Barb will get an extra 2d6 vs. him. The fight stands toe to toe also. The psion casts summons psi constructs; the archer will shot arrows all day. The mage and cleric will spend the first round casting assay resistance (which gives you a +10 to overcoming SR on one creature) The next few rounds all actions are the same but for the Mage and cleric. The cleric will cast harm (150 dam or 75 if makes the saves) and the mage will cast maxed empower ray of enfeeblement 9 dam to Int. Wis. And char. I figure the avg dam will be about 40 for the fighter, 35 for the monk and 60 for the barb. Do you see a better way of fighting this dragon with a s heart? (Please no spoilers). The cleric will cast mass heal when needed.
We are a party of 16th to 18th level Pc playing in the Bastion of lost souls. In the Group we have a pure damage dealing Half Ogre who is 10 levels of barb, 4 Rogue and 3 Fighter. We have a Cleric 18th Level, with a 13 Level psion for a cohort. We have a monk 16th level, Fighter 16th level, Mage prestige class in to a fate from the Complete Arcane 16th level all 5 of the PRC, also a sorc fighter into a arcane archer 16th total levels. We decided not to take Nurn along for the ride (if you know the adventure you know who he is, If not no worries.) I am very worried about the dragon coming up. (Also we lost the desendent of dydd.) My plan is this get all buffed up. I figure the avg dam will be about 40 for the fighter, 35 for the monk and 60 for the barb. Do you see a better way of fighting this dragon with a s heart? (Please no spoilers). The cleric will cast mass heal when needed.
