While they spoke, Daedarai slipped his dagger into his hand and used the tip to lift Tro’leera’s shirt for a view of the rash. “I want to say that killing should be a last resort. These are sick people after all, but I’m afraid the danger is too great. Imagine if even a dozen people in Peer’At were infected and transformed like this. The canals would run red with blood. Until we have a better handle on this, we need to treat further encounters with these creatures as mercy killings both for the afflicted and those they threaten.” The elf, still crouching, looked Alejandro in the eye as he continued, “The only exception is Nora. She’s still our mission. Hopefully, she isn’t infected, but if so, I say we do our best to help her. Shen’s right, Tro’leera’s tonic seems to hold the disease at bay, but it obviously has silver in it. We don’t know how long it takes to make or how much it costs, but it’s safe to assume that we can’t afford to produce medicine for everyone. It can be a temporary help, but we need an actual cure. Our best chance for that lies with the Pelorites.” Daedarai stands and moves to the table. He pockets the alchemical vials that Tro’leera brought with him before grabbing the end of the tablecloth with a swift yank that removes it leaving the dishes standing. He lays it out on the floor beside Tro’leera and motions for Alejandro and Isaac to help him. “We should try to touch him as little as possible,” he said grabbing the sleeves of the half-elf's shirt. “We can put him in this to prevent any accidental infection.” As they maneuver his unconscious form onto the cloth, he continues, “The question that I’m really struggling with is do we take Tro’leera to the clerics. We don’t know if they can actually heal the disease. He would be a perfect test, but if they can’t heal him, they may see him as a threat to be removed.” [SBLOCK=OOC for DM]What does the rash look like? Is it one large splotch or lots of patches?[/SBLOCK]
