This article provides new options for hearty heroes looking for that extra edge to endure. By Jack Dwyer.</p><p></p><p><strong>Thick Skin: The Pachydex Heritage</strong></p><p>The pachydex are a group of beastfolk lineages resembling elephants, hippopotamuses, and rhinoceroses. Commonly found in the same environments as the animals they resemble, in some settings they can be encounter as a seafaring collective forced to leave their homeland under tragic circumstances. This article details each of the three pachydex lineages, as well as the Pachydex Collective culture. But not every unique magic item needs to bend reality to the point of breaking. Sometimes just a touch of chaos is enough. This article details just such an artifact: a tome of magical misadventure. By Anthony Alipio.</p><p></p><p><strong>House Faeries: The Wrathful Brownie</strong></p><p>The great outdoors is not the only place where the feyfolk roam. On the rafters and in the walls scurry the little fairies that live among us. Appropriately called house fairies, these unseen companions clean the floor, repair broken tools or shoes, patch clothing, or even protect the home and livestock. But however a house fairy helps, their unusual temperament can be a source of constant frustration, or worse, dangerous. In this issue, we’ll be introducing another house fairy—the bigger, grumpier, animal-loving brownie, and its rage-fueled transformation, the boggart. By Jagger A Dillon.</p></blockquote><p></p>
