It sounds more like hubris.IMHO Paizo needed to analyse what 5E does well and less well, and then offer a product that improves on the latter while not throwing away the former.PF2 does not shape up to be anything of the sort.It looks more like "now that we have our own Pathfinder brand and market we can do anything, and people will be faithful to us"But my point is, most people turned to Paizo because WotC shat in their own bowl, not because they're inherent Paizo fans.If PF2 doesn't offer anything to the d20/PF1 crowd, and doesn't look anything like 5E... is it more than any other heartbreaker in that case..?</blockquote>
