The players in my campaign finally reached a decent-sized city with some cash to spend, and they are looking to spend it.
To facilitate this, I've come up with a couple of items that I think are pretty cool, so I thought I would share. I don't have the background for the items yet, but each could easily inspire interesting stories and history.
Armor of the Dead Earth
+3 Adamantine Full Plate of Spell Resistance (15)
53,650 gp
This heavy suit of full plate armor has the tell-tale attention to detail and intricate workings of dwarven craftsmanship. The metal is a dull-gray that seems to absorb light, and there is a feeling of eight about it that defies explanation. The armor grants dwarven Stability to any who wear it.
Soulward
+3 Ghost-touch Mithral Chainmail
41,300 gp
The craftsmanship of this chainmail is superb, and it silvery metal flows almost like silk beneath the touch. Golden wire has been threaded into the design of a unicorn over the heart. The armor grants a +2 luck bonus on all saves versus death effects.
Heaven's Roar
+1 Holy Thundering Alchemical Silver Longsword
32,530 gp
The blade of this sword is long, straight, and heavy, and the silver seems to gleam with its own light. The steel and mother-of-pearl crosspiece is in the likeness of a sword archon, with it's outstretched arms forming the guard. The sword glows with a faint pearly light in 5' radius whenever evil outsiders are within 60'. Wielding the sword is taxing on mortals, and each day the bearer must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or suffer 1 point of Strength damage.
The Unbroken Axe
+3 Defending Construct-Bane Adamantine Dwarven Waraxe
68,345 gp
The Unbroken Axe has a heavy, two-pronged axe head made of flat gray adamantine. The shaft is rare darkwood that has been reinforced with adamantine strips. Cherry-sized garnets offset the top and bottom of the grip, which is wrapped with rich green cord. The axe grants its wielder use of the Improved Sunder feat. Because it is constructed of adamantine, the wielder can devote +3 of the magical enhancement bonus to his or her AC, and still receive a +1 non-magical enhancement to hit and damage.
