I generally assume anyone looking can infer that this is an extracted part of a larger whole, and that this is obviously Player facing, and so does not include GM stuff. But more than that, the point of the page is laid out: its for reference for this particular system in the game. Nothing else is pertinent to have here as they're not player facing to begin with, would have their own respective Basics page, or would be classified as Content, and would be something players extract out of the book onto their sheets to reference. That said, I recently decided I'm killing the GM entirely, as the ideas I've had for Solo/Co-Op play have been rather incredible (my "AI" solution for combat is actually going to shape up to make Tactical Improv not only a deeper tactical experience, but just as deep narratively, much more so than it was to begin with), but everytime I playtest these days I end up finding a reason to cram in an NPC standin for myself to play, and as the games been at its most fun when I did that, its kind of a nobrainer. So a lot of this is going to change, and I've already identified some compressions I can do to better communicate the simplicity of this particular part of the game. As it is, in fact, dead simple; just not minimalistic. Its a game that is unapologetically as wide as it is deep, but I've put a lot of effort into ensuring it plays not just smoothly but in a way thats very engaging, and this shows when one sits and plays the game. Its just hard to see it when you've got an extracted part of a game thats designed to be hollistically integrated; a lot of context that I have to try and add that then people don't read anyway because its a lot of words. (I'm not bitter and disillusioned with the online RPG community you're bitter and disillusioned 😋) That is just the mindset one should have while playing; in other words, its reinforcing the whole "stop trying to tell stories" idea, by emphasizing and reinforcing that one should focus on presence, not storytelling. But its also a reference to generational play, which the game is going to support.
