Its Good To Be Back

Wow its been a while since ive been on here guys.
And some of you may remember my post about the DnD Starter Set from amazon well i bourght it. And ive been in love with rp's since. (shame ive not bourght any) Well its my brithday coming up and im getting the players handbook,
But do any of you guys reccomend;
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
Or
Runequest?

Both systems im thinking of purchasing.

Also i was thinking to get a few friends into DnD do like make a chartacter and then make them fight each other in like a Gladiator arena type scene.

I haven't looked at the new RuneQuest, but Warhammer can be fun. It's a different flavor than D&D, so Your Mileage May Vary.

I'm not too familiar with RQ and WH - just wanted to say welcome back and Happy Bday coming up! After looking at your profile I'm wondering - is this the bday that puts you over 16 and gets you into the club near you?

Well.....WHFRP has a new edition coming out and it seems pretty interesting.

Weep sadly know i will be 14 still the small age and cant get into most DnD Clubs in the area sadly .
But im starting one up with my friends and we were thinking of making a hero each and having like gladiator matches and stuff.

I am a big fan of Warhammer so I would give you a resounding "Yes!". I have several books of Runequest and while I haven't played the game, I have enjoyed reading the books and is very much a game that I'm interested in running or playing.
