I saw an announcement about this but it was dated April 1st, so being ever wary I wrote the company and asked. Just got a response and it turns out is IS true!!

Comic Images is working on a NEW WWE RPG called KNOW YOUR ROLE! And it uses the OGL! Now that's kinda cool..it means it has at least the core of a better system than the last one AND the wrestling rules might be useful to D&D or D20 Modern players.

As for who the designers are, I know not...perhaps this information will become available.

As for the other d20 wrestling game, I assume you mean Wrestle D20 by Fantages Studios? They released the first three parts and then it essentially entered limbo. I like it; I wish they'd finish it. Maybe they can use the open gaming content from the parts that have been released in KNOW YOUR ROLE...
