Scenes also have secondary clues which require skill checks to obtain, and that's where the skill challenge takes place, in the secondary clues. That way the players never get bottlenecked nor do you end up with situations where the DM bends the rules so they succeed and get the clues they need.</p><p></p><p>Again, not sure how your setup looked behind the scenes, but it is something worth thinking about.</p></blockquote><p></p>
