January Ampersand: Orcus Miniature! (or statue, if you will)

Did some spelunking at the WotC-website, and found January's Ampersand up already. Not that many tidbits...

...except the fact that they're releasing a friggin' limited edition gargantuan Orcus miniature this year! SWEET!

Now if I could only afford it...

Same figure they said they couldn't produce based on cost earlier. I think the tag was something like $80 bones at the time?

I saw this at Gen Con a couple years ago when WOTC had it on display at their booth and it really was an awesome piece. If they do release it I'll definitely get one (no office is complete without Orcus to watch over you!)

I'm not a big fan of DDMs, especially when compared to "boutique" quality miniatures like Confrontation and Enigma, or even "commercial' quality like Reaper and Warhammer, but that is pretty nice. Still, for $80 I'd rather buy Ultraforge's Greater Wardemon:

The problem, of course, would be painting it that well (it is resin, btw).
