[January] What are you watching?

Portlandia is a skit show. It mocks the "hippy lifestyle" of Portland Oregon.

My wife, I, and my 14 year old son were highly amused. I think there are only 6 episodes, so it is a small investment. One skit went too long for my taste, but if you are a pinko liberal who likes to laugh at yourself, or a red blooded conservative that likes to laugh at liberals, you might find it funny.

I don't get called a pinko very much. I don't think ever, but I do like funny stuff. Safe for kids then in your opinion? My 15 year old daughter actually asked me about it, and if she could watch it. I'd had never heard of it til then.

Thanks.

Rewatching various Star Trek: DS9 episodes. And the Horatio Hornblower miniseries.

Currently working on If God is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise.

Slumdog Millionaire, The Guild, and Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars are all in the queue. Plus various current TV shows when they come back. And where's my next Fallout: Nuka Break episode? It'll take me forever to get around to all this stuff.

Even I think that's quite a strange collection of things.

Depends on the kid. My 14 and 15 year old sons watched it. In the first episode, one of the characters was talking about another character washing a certain part of his anatomy....but that was as far as it went.
