[QUOTE="LuisCarlos17f, post: 9678947, member: 6802378"] The storytelling system was not designed to be power balanced in the fights, and much less when we are talking about fights between different "species". For example the wraiths can't hurt easily living supernaturals but they may be the best spies and that information to be sent to other enemy or rival. Other point it is I have read too many conspirancy theories (that are supposedly happening in real life) and now I don't feel like vampires stories set in our "real" life, but these in only fictonal-worlds like Ravenloft or Innistrad. Sometimes it is done with good intentions but then something happens that changes everything, for example Lashiang is a Chinese city that appears in Resident Evil 6. but after the COVID epidemic no Chinese zone should be the stage of an epidemic plot. And I have mentioned several times in the past about the possible risk of IPs set in our "real life". For example there is a Filipino monster-hunt organitation "the nails of Christ" (Hunter: the Reckoning 5e). How to say it softly? Let's say Northamericans and some Spaniards may have got radically opposite points of view about the History of Philipines. If you talk about the sins of some but remain silent about those of others, then you lose all credibility and your words become considered irritating propaganda. Somebody said Chronicles of Darkness was cancelled because in certain book somebody said something about certain threat and then other wasn't very happy. The History may be a great source of inspiration but it may be tainted by ideological prejudices. And in a "real" world with too many supernatural factions or groups to keep the masquerada becomes too hard even with all their superpowers. I would rather to use fictional regions, for example "New Capena". When you have spent your money to buy the books, you should be totally free to play style "threnchcoats and katanas" if you feel like because that is the way your group have fun, or you can make homemade crossovers with other IPs.
