JD Wizard 4 gnome. Felonious Assault rogue 1 cleric 3 human. Hayden Spitfire Sorcerer 4 dragonborn. Mira Sorcerer 1 elf.Welcome Kenna, Maddox and DM Dad.“Greetings Adventurers. I see my roller coaster trap. Um device has brought me two more adventurers. I am the DUNGEON MASTER. I will be sending on a series of adventures to put right what once when wrong. Today you are helping Mayor Deena Bluecreek find your local druid. Have fun!” said Dungeon Master.Mayor Deena, “Where did that light flash from. As I was saying, 50 GP each. Wait a minute there was only four you before the light flash.”Hayden wiggling fingers, “No there wasn’t. And you should off us more.”Mayor Deena, “Yes there were nine of you. So, 66 GP to find our local druid. She hangs out a grove about 8 hours away.” Enter Laughing Hallow nothing appears amiss, the single line deer track is well marked but the trees are too close. So, close they only see the three boars just in time.Keena, “I think I going to mad. Real Mad. Yes. Raging now.” She charges the first boar. The group lays down covering fire but the second boar gores Mira and tosses him into a tree.Mr. Happy. “CR 2 Boar. First level PC. Not a good mix. Cause of death boar. Location Apple Tree 2365. 0923. Sign here please.”Mira, “No I have friends.”Mr. Happy, “They let you get gore. And dying hurts. Just.”Maddox, “Spare the Dying.”Felonious, “Healing Word.”Mira, “See!”Mr. Happy, “Don’t stick your tongue at me young man. Come back.”The boars have been eating strange mushrooms. Very strange mushrooms. The Druid grabs some and starts examining them. “These are necrotic. You eat them you become blighted. Where have I seen this in my studies. Move on.An hour passes and four dire wolves attack the front and center of the column.Keena, “I think I going to mad. Real Mad. Yes. Raging now.” She stabs the first wolf and stabs the second wolf who knocked her down. Then stabs the first wolf killing it. The party finishes off the wolf pack and the group takes a short nap.About three miles from the grove, it starts to grow darker. As the group is looking at the stationary clouds a displacer beast attacks. As it dies three halfling with mushrooms for hats attack. But they warn the group to go away before they attack. The party focus fire on Elvis killing him. Then kills Frank. But they only bloodied Dean who thanks them as he runs away.Maddox, “This is demon ichor and mushrooms. They don’t mix. And clouds are never stationary.”As two enter the grove proper the light magically dims. Mushrooms are everywhere. And a baby beholder, some violet fungi, Myconid adults, and spore servants attack. The barbarian, Robin, and Hayden cross the darkness line and attack, while the group snipe at the creatures. With one violet fungus left, JD casts Ray of Frost on it stopping in the tracks.The second wave has another gas spore fungus, more adults, and three spore servants. The spore servants are very tough. With two of them teaming up on the barbarian, she is going to die.Hayden, “SLEEP.” The party focus fire on the remain spore servant and finally kill the violet fungi.Felonious, “They moving ones are dead. Let’s kill the sleeping ones…” The Myconid Sovereign and another spore servant dash out the center of grove. The Sovereign wakes the sleeping servants.Mira, “Sleep on them again.” The enraged sovereign charges the sorcerer only to be brought down by focus fire. The group take a breath and focus fire on each servant. And go to loot the grove.Voice, “What do you mean no treasure.”Dungeon Master, “Good Deeds are their own rewards children.”Leaping Sound.DM Notes.
