Zenith Starling the Grey Paladin 4 human. Calypso wizard 4 elf. Sir Roland Cloudcrest Human 3.</p><p></p><p>Harbin and Tibor Wester have a very loud and angry verbal fight through the door. Tibor is now living on the same floor as the group is in the Giant’s Toe Inn. The next quest the group gets is delivering two hunting falcons to hunting lodge.</p><p></p><p>The morning of the next day before they get to lodge the fog closes in. So close that Zenith and Roland fall into the river. As they are wading out, the blood tree druid attacks. Zenith and Roland charge the druid. Unseen due to the fog a river serpent drags Roland under the water.</p><p></p><p>Druid, “Lighting bolt. Shoot missed the spell slinger and got the mule. Don’t smite me bro!”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “Nat 20.” As the druid falls, they don’t see the old man. They approach the river and still see nothing. Suddenly Roland pops from the water.</p><p></p><p>Roland, “My Hip. My back. My MULE! Give me a moment. No a couple of minutes then the snake will drown.”</p><p></p><p>Calypso, “We don’t see not snake.”</p><p></p><p>Roland, “It was a twenty-foot-long snake. I pinned to the bottom using my immoveable rod.!”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “We were fighting a druid, and just heard a splash. No snake.”</p><p></p><p>Roland, “Fine I be right back as soon as my hip quits hurting.” He dives into the water and pulls the snake out.</p><p></p><p>Calypso, “Lair! Lair! This snake is only nineteen feet eleven and three quarters inches. Lair.” While the disagreement is going on the fog lifts and the bridge and hunting lodge fort is revealed.</p><p></p><p>Falcon the Hunter, “Are you people done? Why are you here? Oh my two falcons. Bring them in. Who are you? Hmm Cloudcrest. Yes. You are on the books.”</p><p></p><p>Roland, “I remember you. You were just a baby last time I was here. I remember you call me stinky!”</p><p></p><p>Falcon the Hunter, “You are eighteen years pass due. That will be 180 GP. Good job on that druid. I heard they have a mansion about ten miles from here.”</p><p></p><p>Roland, “I only have 109 GP. Here.”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “We burned down their blood tree. And kill all of them.”</p><p></p><p>Calypso, “Well most of them. Since that one just popped up. You need to pay 100 GP for the falcons.”</p><p></p><p>Falcon the Hunter, “Here you go.”</p><p></p><p>Book, “What is this? You charging the noble for back membership and not mentioning the boots? You are a sucky DM.”</p><p></p><p>DM, “Hey they take the quests out of order, and it made sense a noble would be member of hunting lodge. Besides I didn’t charge them for their rooms. And they are off script. Again.”</p><p></p><p>Book, “Tell them to get on script fast or the encounters will be harder!”</p><p></p><p>DM, “They distracted me. Read on.”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “You have stables and dog pens but no dogs or horses. Why?”</p><p></p><p>Falcon, “Those are for the guests. They bring their own.”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “I need a horse. We need horses. But there are not stables on the map of Phandalin. I will buy a horse when I get back to town.”</p><p></p><p>DM, “There is only one horse for sale in town.”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “You sure. I will check the map again.”</p><p></p><p>Calypso, “I got an idea.”</p><p></p><p>DM, “Sigh!”</p><p></p><p>The next evening after returning to Phandalin the mayor hears a knocking on his door.</p><p></p><p>Calypso, “I suggest you open the door and listen to our business proposal.” Some smooth talking, they walk out with a land deed for two plots north of Barthen Provisions and a tax wavier for a year to build a four horse and six mule stable. They also pick up the Tower of Storm quest.</p><p></p><p>The next day on the way to lighthouse the dragon Cryovain drops in for a visit. Cryovain, “How are my minions doing? Do have my loot? What happen to the professor? Dead due to old age?”</p><p></p><p>Roland, “Instead of cash how about your choice of two magic items. Staff of Birdcalls or Dust of disappearance?”</p><p></p><p>Cryovain, “My first magic item for my horde. You love me. You really love me. I take the magic stick. I will visit you on day 30 south of town. I have my first magic item.” The dragon dances away.</p><p></p><p>The next day by the sea shore on the way down to the lighthouse they meet Eugene Crab. A talking crab about twenty foot wide. He wants to group to free or kill the banshee in the cave. He is sad that his creator the druid Miraal turned evil. He will dig up her equipment if they release her. The group puts wax in their ears and moves out to the cave.</p><p></p><p>Miraal, “Don’t Smite me bro!”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “Nat 20.” The group move up the narrow five foot walkway toward the lighthouse. Three harpies dive at the group. Roland falls for their song. One is knocked prone and bounces of the walkway recovering before falling into the ocean. It attacks the paladin.</p><p></p><p>Harpy, “Don’t smite me bro!”</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “Nat 20.” With the last harpy dead, Roland slides back down the cliff side nearly falling to his doom. They enter the lighthouse complex. Some rooms are empty. They leave the storm altar alone. Entering the bedroom they find another blood druid.</p><p></p><p>Moesko, “I haven’t the heart to tell you why you have mess up. No I not going to give you the information.” He charges the group and is belly blocked by Calypso and is knocked prone.</p><p></p><p>Moesko, “Don’t smite me bro!’</p><p></p><p>Zenith, “Nat 20.”</p><p></p><p>We will pick this up in room T7. Please let me know which of the next two quests you want to run.</p><p></p><p>DM Notes. Forgot to reward you the boots during the game. Leveling up will be different. If you are level five you have to do both Circle of Thunder and Dragon Barrow to level.
