Geromino Path of the Wild Barbarian 8 Half-orc. Ares fighter 5.</p><p></p><p>Beliard Blessing.</p><p></p><p>Five minutes ago, Liu Feng woke you up. Beliard is going to be destroyed at sunset set. The cult is going to activate the ritual at one of eight booths around the festival tree. Candy, Mulled Wine, Popcorn, Hot dog Stand, Beer booth, Kids Booth, Hot Chocolate, or Puppet Show.</p><p></p><p>Beliard is 30 miles away. But it is snowing and travel is down by a third so just riding the horses at normal pace will not cut it.</p><p></p><p>Option 1. Do nothing.</p><p></p><p>Option 2. Push the horses. Result. Begin at Starting point. Roll a d6 for Ritual. Complication 1.</p><p></p><p>Option 3. Push the horses and yourselves really hard. Begin at another starting point. Roll a d6. Complication 1 and Save for Complication 2.</p><p></p><p>Option 4. We will have spells and not afar to use them. Aka you decided.</p><p></p><p>The group choose Option 1. Pushing their horses and themselves hard through the snow, terrain, the river and traffic; they arrive a less than a football field from the Christmas Plaza. Their horses collapse dead. They have 32 miles worth of saddle sores and one level of exhaustion. So, -2 to all rolls. (Forgot the five foot lost.) Cheery St on the left leads mostly straight to the plaza. Cherry Ave has more turns. The group splits up.</p><p></p><p>Lots of kids and adults are on the way or at the plaza. Aka speed bumps and innocents are in the way. Suspicious snow piles are scattered down the roads. Houses are forty to sixty feet high.</p><p></p><p>Geronimo screams at three kids, “GO WRESTLE THE MAN-EATING BEAR!” the kids and their father run away from the barbarian.” Zephron spreads his wings and tries to fly above the houses. And Liu Feng does dashes toward the plaza passing one snow pile.</p><p></p><p>Guard, “Freeze in the name of Zhentarim. Hey you are under arrest. Come back her.”</p><p></p><p>Liu “Geronimo my lawyer will answer you complain.”</p><p></p><p>The other three dash down Cheery Ave. Then Philip wildshapes and grabs Ares. The crowd thinks they are just really want to get into plaza before the beer is gone.</p><p></p><p>Rounding the final corner two hell hounds morph out their illusion and attack Liu flaming him for no damage. Too bad about the kid and mommy.</p><p></p><p>Clearing the final roof, Ares spies two minotaur who drop their illusion and attack. He gets off a shot.</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile Geronimo has slain the Zhent and Ember is being chased by other Zhent. The tick is four.</p><p></p><p>The crowd goes wild to cheer of Liu Fang and charge him. OR did they panic. Roll a d6 on 1 flee to top of table, on 6 flee toward DM side of table.</p><p></p><p>Ares pile drives the minotaur. Liu Fang passes the hell hounds off to Geronimo and starts on the other minotaur. The second group of hell hounds flame Liu and Aries and they survive. Some of innocents not so much. The tick is three.</p><p></p><p>Spirit Guardians is cast and woodland beings is casted. (Discussion on both is mostly in their favor, if the crowd runs into the effect.) Ember is fight off two Zhent and casing heals on Ares. The first group of hell hounds are dead. The crowd picks up Liu and crowd surfs him into the hot chocolate stand. The tick is two.</p><p></p><p>One minotaur dies, followed by the three Eternal Flame guards. Ember is fighting three Zhent and healing the party keeping Ares and Philip from Death. Geronimo is firing arrows to annoy the hell hounds. The tick is one. The orb is released.</p><p></p><p>Zephron grabs the box and shoves around the orb but can’t close it. He starts to fly away but is followed by the minotaur running through the party and over the roof tops. Liu dashes up the wall and over the roofs. He punches the minotaur and closes the box. They fly off to way outside the city before the box explodes.</p><p></p><p>Meanwhile the group takes care of the rest of bad guys and arrest a Zhent. Causalities are seven kids and five adults. Hot chocolate stand is mostly destroyed and the kid’s booth totally destroyed.</p><p></p><p>End of session 617.</p></blockquote><p></p>
