Geronimo Barbarain 16 half orc. Ardor Paladin 13 sorcerer 3 Elf. Megan Druid human.</p><p></p><p>Mordenkainen, “Glad you asked the called. You mission is to recover the hell ship Leviathan. I will be teleporting you to near the river Styx where you meet your contact who will sail you to near the last location of the ship. Take this dilithium crystal to power the ship. It will be cold be sure to pack your field jackets.”</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “Who is our contact?”</p><p></p><p>Mordenkainen, “A merronoloth called Varenor, He carries a nice mace. Don’t kill him.”</p><p></p><p>Geronimo, “Shoot a good size fart could do that.”</p><p></p><p>Mordenkainen, “Bye now. See on the other side.” The party arrives at a fiendish wasteland. Some boulders try to hide aramites and bulezau. The barbarian charges and melee begin, with the only high point being the paladin takes three lightning bolts to the face and still looks good.</p><p></p><p>Varenor, “Nice warm up fight.”</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “Nice mace. You taking us somewhere?”</p><p></p><p>Varenor, “Up river. Please keep all your arms, legs, and other daggling bits inside the boat at all times. Do not drink the water or get on you as this is the powerful River Styx.”</p><p></p><p>Zephron, “Gee I help murder the cult of dragon and nothing. A garage band from Chicago is so evil they get a river named after them.”</p><p></p><p>The trip is slow going at fight but the speed slowing picks up which is strange as the going upstream. The boat starts rocking.</p><p></p><p>Geronimo, “Don’t rock the boat baby!” Suddenly three small Styx dragons fly out the river splashing some of the party. Strangely the water does no damage.</p><p></p><p>Lore, “What the What?”</p><p></p><p>PCs, “Tier three saving throws!”</p><p></p><p>The baby dragons don’t do well but mommy is upset and feebleminds the druid and kills the captain. The wheel spins. Ardor punches Mommy Dragon in the gut and pushes her off the ship. The ship keeps going forward while Ardor nearly solo’s the dragon. Zephron puts his good cleric powers to good use and saves the druid and captain. And they bed down for the night.</p><p></p><p>Varenor, “All ashore who going ashore. Beware for ice pits think quicksand but with an icy center. Sleet storms. And cold accountants checking your 1040 forms. Bye.” Most of the group flies and pulls the barbarian along on a leash. This leash stops him from fall into three pits. They finally arrive at the hole in the ice which leads to ship.</p><p></p><p>Guarding the hold are Hezrou and merregons. They got down quickly. Arriving at the Captain’s Quarters they meet two average demons and one big demon.</p><p></p><p>Dirvex, “Hey. I claim this ship in the name of Grazzt.”</p><p></p><p>Magen, “We claim this ship in the name of Mordenkainen. And we out number you by one.”</p><p></p><p>Dirvex, “I am here just for some loot. The ship was going to be a bonus.”</p><p></p><p>Zephron, “We are here for the ship and the loot was our bonus. I suggest we kill them all.”</p><p></p><p>Dirvex, “The big demon is a cr 16 new monster.”</p><p></p><p>Megan, “What do you want?”</p><p></p><p>Dirvex, “Just a demon egg from the stores.”</p><p></p><p>Megan, “Find, me and you go. The others stay here.” They get the demon egg and wave to each other.</p><p></p><p>Dirvex, “Oh I see you have a power source but you will need a helmsman keep. Mr. M didn’t know that. It is somewhere on ship. Bye. Bye. I am gone.”</p><p></p><p>Voice, “Crap a side quest.”</p><p></p><p>Moving out into the main hall they kick open first door to right. And luck out as key master is making the key. The bluff fails so the kill the key master and take the key. Moving straight to the helm they start the ship up. Suddenly there is knock at the door.</p><p></p><p>Alrina, “Little adventurers. Little adventurers. Please let me in.”</p><p></p><p>Zephron, “Who are you calling little. What do you want?”</p><p></p><p>Alrina, “Executive Fixer for Asmodeus. The red, blue, and white gem which should be on the right-hand side of the pilot’s chair next to the yellow coffee cup.” The group looks at each other.</p><p></p><p>Zephron, “Parley! Parley!” He opens the door and drops the gem in her hand. “Sorry to bother you. Hope your boss enjoys it.” He locks the door and the woman leaves.</p><p></p><p>The ship climbs to the sky and they set a course for home when a ghost pirate ship attacks. And is blown out the sky in two rounds.</p><p></p><p>DM Note Shift some stuff around due to time.</p><p></p><p>End of Session 630.</p></blockquote><p></p>
