Message: <blockquote data-quote="LightPhoenix" data-source="post: 1202057" data-attributes="member: 115">I've watched the first three episodes, but since I don't get Showtime my viewings are delayed. I definitely like the direction they're taking with all the characters.  I'm really surprised that (season 2 spoiler) [spoiler]Jeremiah's father survived.  I was really expecting him to die.[/spoiler]  Always can count on JMS to do unexpected things. The Kurdy/Smith pairing was bound to happen, seeing as how Kurdy really is the more spiritual of the two.  But they play off of each other incredibly well.  I'm really interested to see where they're taking them. I also really liked Kurdy's virtual promotion to a lieutenant, like Erin.  Erin's definitely one of my favorites.  And speaking of, did I get kind of a vibe along the lines of an Erin/Kurdy pairing? Finally, Theo is by far the best part of Jeremiah.  There was trouble with the season, with Showtime trying to butt into the creative process (gulp). Season 2 is finished, but JMS isn't working on the third season, if there is one.  The fact that the second season is only fourteen episodes (compared with 22 in the first season) doesn't particularly bode well either. On a related note, we're gonna have to wait until January for the second half of the season.  After episode seven, there's gonna be a haitus for the holiday season.</blockquote>
