I know there's a number of people on this board who are frequent users of my JH NameGen utility (available at jhanson.com). I was wondering if any of you would like to help me out with something...
A new commercial version of JH NameGen is almost ready for beta testing. This version will expand on the capabilities of the free version in a number of ways. While I don't want to give away all of the surprises, one of the new features is the "Toolbar Mode" which allows you to dock JH NameGen, similar to the MS Office Toolbar, keeping it on screen for easy access, while running other programs. It has customizable hotkeys too, so if you are writing your next great adventure and need a name, your hands never have to leave the keyboard.
Anyway, what I need is a few willing volunteers who would like to beta test this application. You will, of course, get a free copy of the completed program once it is released, if you are selected to be a beta tester.
If you're interested, go to www.jhanson.com, and click the Contact Me link. Let me know what version of Windows you are using (95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP), as well as your name, and the email address at which you wish to be contacted.
The testing starts in about a week.
