See page 125 of the player's handbook for an example under "Scorpion Strike". If you pick the Brutal Scoundrel path, you get a special bonus power you can use.</p><p></p><p>The idea is to make a system where they can expand their chosen path with abilities from other ones, while guiding them to stay near their roots.</p><p></p><p>Okay, that's enough for a start.
