It really should be a no go purchase for anyone. I have no idea how GG ended up here but it won't end well for anyone (althoguh I hope it does not end well for JG). And, it has been confirmed that they are not reprinting the original. Did you really expect them to? GG is not smart enough to realize they shouldn't work with Bob Jr, but are smart enough to realize that releasing the original CSIO would get them in trouble with portion of the audience that needs even their reprinted content from past decades to be clean and uncontroversial due to some of the now outdated elements in the text. A shame that we can't let adults, most of whom are capable of recognizing things for what they are, make their own judgement calls.

In any event, the original and 3.5 products are wonderful and have a great legacy. People who want to play CSIO will find these.
JG really does not need to exist anymore, it has been pathetically dragging its body around for years now.
GG should certainly not work with them. This is not a product worth releasing under these circumstances. The JG camp are unpredictable bigots with no clue how to interact with much of their audience or really how to present themselves on the internet in general. They continue to show their true colors with every post. I'm not afraid of historical evidence of bad ideologies and politics being accesible to the public, I know how to filter information and feel there is a value in this stuff existing, so I don't agree with the childlike censorship in the hobby, but I also don't see a need to continue supporting people who by all means should know better today and clearly are too far gone to change.
The awkward Jennell shoutouts in his most recent post seemed strategic, but I can't help but think she would not want a thing to do with this man were she alive now.
