Challenge: Render this picture of a boy into a cool-looking full-color “Male Druid Gnome Adventurer” with gear and all the works!

Leave the head uncovered and maintain the face as much as possible. Embellish the clothing, staff, and grasses as you wish! Good luck, have fun, and looking forward to seeing what you great artist come up with!

ON JUNE 30th I will pick a winner. I will announce the winner here and I shall mail the winner a check for 10 dollars.

Heh heh, this is a nice little quasi-comission, though I think you're probably weighing in a touch lite on the prize money; full color big-time comissions generally run from $50 to $100, and then there's your little twist that an artist's submission might not be picked as the winner. So you come away paying cheap money even for one comission, and yet you have several, if not many, portraits to show for it.

The idea has merit, but the moolah has to go up, methinks.

Hey I’m not The Donald. $10 is all the money I can afford. And thank you very much for going out of your way to make your moot point – if I don’t get any takers I’ll have you to eternally blame. So, now, let me attempt to go into “damage repair” mode.

As is commonly known, fine people here do FREE characters by request and FREE monsters by request all the time -- IF one is going to do it free, then why not get an extra envelope in the mail with a $10 check in it? If that “one” is not you – then what do you want?

Think of the joy of an artist ripping open a crisp white envelope with a $10 dollar check inside, out of the blue, no strings attached, just extra money for someone who would ordinarily do it for free.

<O</OImagine him/her saying to another’s delight, "Heyyyyyy I have a wonderful idea babe, leeeeeeets go and get a few dollars worth of gas to put in the van, and then, yes then, I’ll take you to McDonald's and buy you whateva man I said what-ever your heart desires. I don't know about a dessert, but you can pick any combo you want!”

I saw your thread this morning, I'm afraid I was only able to work on the picture this afternoon. So it's nothing elaborate, I'm afraid. Hope you like it all the same.

FYI, not interested in the $10, I did it because I love the game and the art. Also to keep the spirit of this forum alive.
