Just Asking Opinion on Scout/Rogue Build

NEXxREX

First Post
so i was playing a necromancer, annnnnnnnd casters really suck at lower levels. there arose the situation for him to "quest" by himself and leave the party to return at a later date (when hes capable) so he did that. i am just kind of tired of not being able to cast anything of use (when your hiding that your a necromancer and your a dread necromancer there's a VERY limited spell list, but that's what i wanted to play just not at this level) for the party and we got another caster so i figured id try out my scout build.

so when we roll stats its 4 d6 reroll 1's and one 2.

i rolled last right in front of the GM like always, and it was stupid
18, 17, 17, 16, 14, 10

i chose stone child as my race and it came to

Str 25
Dex 18
Con 25
Int 18
Wis 14
Cha 8

so yeah hes butch, our party is 5th level, Stone child for a LA of +4, and 1 level of scout. (we don't use racial hit dice to determine level because we don't keep track of experience. our GM just tells us when we level, cause of that losing 2 levels cause of 2d8 is a pretty serious hit and its a bit simpler and keeps people form being Exp *Beep*)

the plan behind my build it to combine scout and rogue levels using Swift Ambusher feat in complete scoundrel. and then combine my skirmish damage with that of sneak attack (yes i am abusing tumbles broken static d/c's) couple this with two weapon fighting/dual strike, i could tumble to hit them flatfooted and get 2 attacks both with sneak attack and skirmish damage. then if you add the travel devotion feat from complete champion i can move up to my speed as a free action (1/day plus 1/ every 2 turn attempts, but i am not gonna mess with cleric). then on top of that add improved skirmish from complete scoundrel i could get sneak attack, skirmish, two weapon fighting, and improved skirmish with all four attacks.

at level 13 (8 levels from now) ill be scout 4/rogue 5

and 1/day with travel devotion if i move 20 feet ill have:

4 attacks with improved 2 weapon and
+3d6 sneak attack
+5d6 skirmish
added to each attack

and +4 AC skirmish

now 4 attacks each with +8 d6 seems a little good to be true

let me know if im doing something wrong i read sneak attack and skirmish it says nothing about them not stacking, it says in both of them that they strike vital spots but i try to be as prepared as possible and id like to know if anyone sees any flaws in the build or know of a ruling somewhere that says they dont stack.

thanks in advance

They do stack just remember that improved skirmish activates at 20 feet of movement and precision damage can be negated by any concealment. Also your to hit ratio may not be that great. Aside from rogue and scout having moderate attack progression without any in-class improvement dual-strike is at best a -4 penalty, not even ambidexterity can reduce it. Also dual strike is a standard action, can't be part of a full attack.

If you're able to use Dragon material, take a look at the Crescent Knife from #275, page 44. It's a light exotic weapon that makes two attacks instead of one, and both benefit from precision damage. It can be DW'd effectively, but DW isn't always effective.

emoplato-i am going to be using the 20 foot move when i use the travel devotion feat, then it will allow me to make 4 attacks in the round as a full round action, dual strike is after i use all my travel devotion uses (which is 1) so i can get more then a single attack as a standard. and with a +8 to attack for strength (im gonna put the first ability point increase into strength) i should be hitting ok (ill also take weapon focus, and throw in a +1 for masterwork and at least a +1 for enchantment and probably have a few more points of strength from say belt of giant strength for 6 points/another +3 to hit)

by level 13 and my planned bonuses my four attacks will be 18/18/15/15
and my dual strike will be 16/16

and actually dual strike only lets me apply skirmish and SA once so i might just say forget that all together.

and thats respectable considering in hitting them flatfooted (through the tumble skill) so i should be able to hit more then miss.

Jackinthegreen-i never really used the dragon stuff, and i know it is a great source but i like having the source for what im using available to show my dm. i dont really mess with it.

Rumbletiger-i like that guide its great and ill use it for other characters, this guys gonna be a nimble tank.

Acrobatic backstab skill feat in complete scoundrel, when i hit tumble 12 i can tumble through their square with a static dc of 25 and hit them flatfooted.

but does anyone have any other ideas or flaws with my build?? i am kind of going here to proofread my stuff (i like to be prepared and knowledgeable about when ever build i am making)

Acrobatic Backstab requires 12 ranks in Tumble. You need to be a minimum level 9 in order to qualify for the skill trick. If I read your OP correctly, you've got 4 more levels to go in order to qualify.

Acrobatic Backstab means you only get one attack. If you want to make someone flatfooted, a Minor Cloak of Displacement might be better.

it just makes the first attack against them flat footed, and yes i am planning to have all these things by the time our party is level 13(right now level 5). so i have plenty of time to plan and prepare for when im gonna take.

and im basically preparing to have different ways to hit people, i can tumble/hit them flatfooted i can use travel devot and hit with crap ton of damage, or go straight for skirmish(and if flanking i can add SA) but i want to have the options to hit people in different ways. even if my damage isnt maxed out.

and does minor cloak of displacement count as moving for skirmish reasons? i was always wondering about teleport counting for skirmish damage.
