Just now getting up for the day. A bit sore all over, but I'm feeling better than I did last night, and I apparently got the worst of it in our vehicle (which I don't understand - Oncarou was the one actually in the front passenger seat), so that's good. TB: From the look of the guy and his car (relatively new, probably still making payments), I believe he is most likely insured, but the officer couldn't get his info from him last night - he's supposed to be bringing it today when he fills out "DUI victim paperwork" (what he called it) for all of us. krunchyfrogg: Intersection of Irby St and Second Loop Rd., Florence, SC. Rel: Thanks for the advice. It looks like I'm the only one with any external signs of damage, though, and that's just some scraping on my belly. Mythusmage: I wouldn't be for tests of dexterity, even after what happened last night. I'm an excellent driver, but have a nerve condition that might make me fail them. Plus, I'd hate to see the first time someone needed to start their car for an emergency like getting someone to the hospital, but they can't because they're too shaken to readily pass the test. A built-in, fast, breathalyzer, OTOH, wouldn't be bad - it wouldn't catch drugged drivers, but it would still help in enough situations to be worthwhile. Thanks to everyone who has expressed concern. Honestly, last night when we first got hit, I thought for sure someone in our vehicle was going to be SERIOUSLY hurt, so I'm feeling pretty relieved, myself, overall.
