In addition, there is a list of 10 exceptional adventures from <em>Dungeon Magazine.</em> The list of 30 includes cover art, author, artist, year published, synopsis, and defining moment of each module.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Orange">Adventures</span></p><p><span style="color: Lime">Palace of the Twisted King</span> by Philip Larwood</p><p>A blistering sandstorm finally breaks, revealing a moribund ruin long shrouded by the desert sands. Its crumbling walls might provide respite from the terrible winds, but the keep's ancient meenlock master has a special bed for visitors - his grisly operating table. A D&D adventure for 12th-level characters. Any setting (psionics), Temperate coastal & dungeon crawl. 14 pages, including 1 full-page map. Contains 2 magic items: Torc of Inertial Barrier; and a Figurine of Wonderous Power, the Opal Frog.</p><p></p><p><span style="color: Lime">Asylum</span> by Christopher Perkins</p><p>In the final chapter of the Shackled City Adventure Path, the heroes venture to the Prison Plane of Carceri. Outer Planes (Carceri) & dungeon crawl. 24 pages, including 4 one-third-page maps. Contains one new feat, Practiced Magic. Contains a new weapon quality, Dementia.
