The length of Lords of Madness/ Codex Anathema is listed on the WotC site as 224 pages.

As someone whose biggest gripe about Libris Mortis was its length, I find this very promising indeed.

Some other books on the other hand are given only 160 pages instead of the usual 192. (Champions of Ruin, for instance.)

Aboleths, Beholders. Mind Flayers, Neogi, Grell, Tsochari all get their own chapters with another chapter devoted to 'Other' Aberrations, such as Psionic Psurlons.
