Just to clarify: Tortles are XGtE

So some friends and I want to run the totally original idea of playing 4 tortles and a kobold monk at the next CON. Of course a few of the tortles want the Kensei monk. So just to clarify, are tortles considered a part of XGtE or ToA?

Excellent. Thanks for the info. We'll proceed to make some kensei/fighter hybrids. Or maybe throw a kensei/artificer in there.
